I have fantastic news to share.

Last night I posted about a new friend.

Guess who was waiting for me at church this morning?

And guess who asked for a ride to detox?

Our friend is now on his way to freedom. Freedom from the drugs that have controlled him for the majority of his life.

Please pray for him as he begins this brave new chapter of life.

Because everyone deserves a second chance, even if it's the 10th second chance.

I have fantastic news to share.

Our new friend is doing well, really well.

He completed his 72 hours of detox, and he used his phone privileges to call and let me know.

The place that he was at didn't have availability for his needed rehab stay (which can be anywhere from 28 to 90 days), so we found him a bed at a nearby place. We sent an Uber, and he's on his way as I type this.

I truly believe in the power of prayer. We when turn to our God, He hears us. There is nothing that our God can't do.

So please continue to keep T in your prayers. When I told him that there were hundreds of us praying for him, he was speechless, and incredibly grateful.

Raise a hallelujah!
