Almost Home adopted a softball team
I am so excited to share that our first go at sponsoring a Softball Team was a success.
The team, namesake’d Almost Home, took to their networks to talk about what Almost Home does. Smoke signals, emails, texts…however y’all did it, it was a job well done!!
Look at all these collected donations for our Blessings Boxes and our Loaves & Fishes pantry at Alive Church.
This sponsorship has already impacted so many lives, and that is what Almost Home aims to do for our underserved and undervalued populations.
The typical structure of softball sponsorships are bars and restaurants, where the return patronage is the trade off. Our approach allowed players (co-Ed team and had some married couples) to return home after games and not to an establishment. #Winning #DoubleWinning
Through this sponsorship, we are impacting AT LEAST 200 people.

Also, thanks to Almost Home team for entertaining one of my crazy ideas. My back might not let me play softball anymore, but at least I was able to help others play it.
