I posted this one year ago today.

So much has happened during these past 12 months at Alive Church. We are so grateful, thankful and blessed for the continued support of our home church.

I now understand why God had all of those other churches (22, to be exact), turn us away. He was wanting us here, where we belong.

A trip down memory lane:

On the day that this picture was taken, I promised myself that one day it would hang in my office.

So I ordered one last night.

Because next week we are moving our headquarters out of the Galvan household and into a space at Alive Church in Oak Lawn!

The ultimate goal is to open a day center of our own - but we are still quite a few years away from achieving that, due to financial reasons and with many of my children still so young.

We outgrew my teeny-tiny Hometown duplex many moons ago. So I starting searching for a church to let us borrow some of their unused space.

Time and time and time again, I was told no for various reasons. It was incredibly discouraging.

But then Pastor Phil and his church said yes!

And I'm so excited!

For the past 6 years, my house has been completely up for grabs. With such limited space, we were forever having to climb over boxes and bags of donations, supplies, paperwork and God knows what else. My husband has the patience of a Saint.

We move in next Tuesday. I can't wait.

P.S. Did I mention that I'm excited?
