Random acts of kindness - Giving Tuesday

Random acts of kindness.

Next to church under the bridge, it's my favorite Almost Home ministry.

So far in 2021, we have gifted $20,343.77 to every day people. A few examples:

•We left a $2,021 tip to a waitress (a single mama of a special needs child) on her very first shift back after quarantine was over, and she was without pay for over three months.

•We purchased a dishwasher for an elderly couple who couldn't physically stand long enough to wash the dishes anymore.

•We bought a washer and dryer for a woman who worked a full-time job AND a part-time job for many years, and still couldn't afford to buy one herself.

•We paid for a stranger's haircut after we heard that she was the victim of domestic violence and she needed a fresh look.

•We brought coffee and donuts to our friends on the street more times than I can count.

•We sent dinner to neighbors in need, flowers to our friends in mourning, sweet treats to local police stations, refrigerators to families who were without one, and so much more.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 so that we can continue this ministry in 2022. If YOU were a recipient of a random act of kindness gift from us, please feel free to share your experience!

Because everyone needs help sometimes, right?

All my love, Sarah
