Back in the game, with a little help

Early Wednesday morning, I read an article about a local business that was robbed of $15,000 + in merchandise the day before.

Back in the Game Video Games and Repair is located at 77th and Cicero, which is really close to my house.

For whatever reason, the story really, really touched my heart, and I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I knew I wanted to help. Thinking all morning about the best way to go about it, I decided to go in person to meet Zodrey Pickens, the owner, and hear his story today.

Almost Home purchased 40 $25 gift cards from the store. Not only will this help his business sustain and gain new customers, but we can gift these to AH families for the Christmas season.

Double win.

Because everyone needs help sometimes, right? And that's okay.
