How can you help?

People often ask me if they should give money to the friends that they see panhandling.

I reply with this: Do what YOUR heart tells you to do.

MY heart tells me no. Because I know where that money is going, and I can't be a part of that.

Instead, I almost always offer something to eat or drink. I also keep Blessings Bags in my car, and I go through them quickly.

I made up quite a few extra this week, and I have them in a bin by the front doors here at Alive Church.
