Almost Home’s Soup kitchen - The Stone Soup Kitchen.

Dinner is served at 5pm. Doors open at 4:30pm. If you would like a nice hot meal and the company of fellow humans, PLEASE know that you are welcome and wanted.

Come to the table.

The Stone Soup Kitchen will be open every Saturday evening for the remainder of the year.

Our intention is to feed:
Our unsheltered friends
Our elderly community
Our food-insecure neighbors
Our working poor
And anyone looking for a hot meal and the love and companionship of a fellow human.

ALL are welcome and wanted.

This is a very exciting time for Almost Home. A soup kitchen has been a dream of Sarah’s for years now, and it's absolutely thrilling to see it all coming together.

Awhile back, Pastor Phil told her this:

"Dream big. Start small. React quickly."

We will start with 10 Saturday runs. If all goes well, we can ask for an additional day of the week.

If adding an additional day is proven to be needed in the community, we can THEN ask for an additional day and so on.

The ultimate goal is to eventually be running the kitchen all seven days of the week, all year long.
